My husband spent all day putting this together. I can’t believe he actually followers through. This is made of cheap material and came with broken parts, no pre drilled holes…just awful. It looks okay when put together but if you look close there are definitely some defects.

After reading the few reviews we decided to purchase this item for our daughter’s room. Once the item was assembled, we were extremely disappointed in the quality of the item. The pieces didn’t align well at all and the bed shook easily from side to side with little to no movement. We are returning this item and I would never recommend this item to anyone else.

I was hesitant to buy this because there were no reviews yet at the time of my purchase, but WOW this bed is great! Everything about it is well designed and relatively easy to build. I love that there is a usb / plug outlet that builds into the headboard and it merely has an extension cord that plugs into the wall (no "wiring" required).I will say though that the shelves actually SCREW IN (and don't sit on pegs like typical shelving). While this is better for sturdiness, it can be a bit awkward to get the screws in. (I had to make pilot holes with a tiny bit in my drill in order to make the screws to go in smoothly. Otherwise you have to simply screw directly into the solid wood by hand, and there are no "guides" to tell you where to put the shelving screws. An impact driver REALLY helps, because it's such a confined space that a full length screwdriver barely fits, let alone freely turns by hand.)Lastly, because the bed sits very high (especially for a 5-year old), I'd recommend getting a memory foam mattress, or something that doesn't require a "box spring," because anything higher will not only be difficult for a child to climb, it can overlap / block the lower shelves in the headboard. But if you want a good "corner" setup for a kids room, THIS is the bed to get!!!
