1st sentence says waterproof but the whole top side of the bag is wide open mesh of 1/4" squares water has free access and will collect on the water proof bottom.

I used to keep all my life jackets in a mess under my deck... Not super handy if an emergency happened but this has made them super accessible and hold up without budging at all even at very high speeds. A must have for any avid boater!

I saw the write-up and realized this was just what I wanted for my powerboat. Just like they say, I need a way to carry my lifejackets and this does the job. It's nylon and well made, and while I haven't submerged it or anything like that, I'd say it's water-protected for sure.The velcro straps, zippers, mesh and webbing are all robust and I expect this storage bag to last a long time.

This boat storage bag has very roomy storage capacity. It fits well on the boat and is easy to install, holding your lifejackets and whatever you may need. Great value.

This one was for life Vests and items to go out on the lake. It will stay secure in our rafters of the garage ,but opening the ties and zippers are a chore. I was told to try wax on these areas so I may try that but the zippers just seem loosely sewn and kind of bunched up. Maybe we got a weird one. But it's construction is a good idea and maybe I can shore it up a bit. the straps are a good length to secure it.

When you need life jackets, sometimes you need them NOW. Scrambling around to try and find where you last stashed them is not recommended! Now, some boats have perfect storage near the helm--mine doesn't. So this seemed a perfect way to place up to six type-II life jackets in an easy-to-access-in-a-hurry overhead bag. I've just started using it, so we'll see if it sags much over time, but for now it looks great, fits well, and is currently holding 4 life jackets. It's unobtrusive and keeps them out of the way, yet quickly accessible.

This helped create more space by hanging overhead. It has two clear pockets and two deeper pockets on the sides. The bungee also allows a lot to be added under the bag itself, and is super extendable.Depending on the size of your PFD‘s, you may be able to fit more life jackets inside. We probably turned ours the wrong way, as we were only able to fit 3 to 4 inside.The material seemed very durable and sturdy.
