I purchased 2 of these Axe Handles one of them was very well made and is very sturdy but the second handle literally fell apart when installing the Axe Head .I have replaced many handles over 60 years and I always tapped the bottom of the handle on a rubber mat to install the Axe Head and when I did so the second handle started cracking on me.

Axe handle appears like it’s going to be a good fit, straight and true however it does not appear to be from American hickory as in the description. By todays shipping standards it was a little slow finding it’s way to me. Packaging was basic and was fine except for all the sticky residue it leaves behind. Overall, I do recommend it and will purchase again.

Looks like a nice handle at first site, when fitting my axe head the lack of quality becomes apparents. Very poorly shaped where the axe head fits, loos and undersized and a definate breaking point . NOT worth the $75 I paid, more around the $25 mark

Very sturdy, well made and I am looking forward to years of extended use with this new handle. I had to do some minor shaping with sandpaper to get a proper fit to my axe head (this should be expected) but once that was completed the mounting of the axehead was a breeze. Highly recommend!

This came packaged in a big box. It is strong and seems substantial. Easily replaced the broken one on the axe head.

This handle fit very well in the axehead of the double bit axe I was restoring. The new handle is thicker than the original handle, but feels sturdy and well balanced. This handle will give my old axe new life for years to come.
