I got this to replace the switch on my 2007 Pilot. Part looked to be of good quality. I followed Honda service manual, jumped through all of the hoops of removing the old one and cleaning up the old crusty parts that need to be re used with the new. Installed the new one per the manual and went to tighten the nut to specs, when the threads on this part turned to mush before I was even close to torque spec. Tried to back it off so I could return the part and the nut just spun and spun and would not thread off or tighten up. I gave up and put everything back together despite the buggered threads and it does function, I just have no idea how long it will last before that nut totally gives up and falls off.
