it stains easily, hard to remove the black tar in the bottom, leaves black marks on what ever surface its on. after a few wash it fell apart, useless junk. DONT BUY!!!!!

I purchased this to use on my wood tables. I love the smaller size, that it is heat resistant and protects my table from moisture. The first time I used it we had Italian food and of course there were spills on the mat. I used Dawn to scrub them out but most stains appeared not to come out. Since it was wet from scrubbing I left the mat unrolled overnight to dry. The next morning when rolling it up I realized ALL of the stains were gone. Strange, but I'm happy I have a stain free mat!

This item is great for maintaining heat and protecting surfaces. The slip resistant bottom keeps the trivet in place, even on plastic table clothes; and it’s durable and easy to clean.

I got these to protect our wood countertops, which look great but are easily dented if anything hard falls on them from a cabinet above. This can absorb the impact. Also protects them from hot pans. And it seems to be washable too so you can get rid of any stains.

I love the function of these mats I have them in other colors and they are fantastic to protect a high gloss dining table.I have not placed a pot directly on them but on my table if a dish is even a bit warm. Or a glass has is cold it leaves white damage on my table. These have been the perfect thing to protect from both and are easy to roll out in the center of the table, and as a placemat size.I actually keep them on my table permanently in placement size and place a decorative mat over top.I only complained is this color it is blue very blue the entire mat looks denim I have gray and black in this style and it is very different. If it was stated as blue mat in the description I would not have taken off a star or purchased the color
