Cap has an o-ring and seals nicely when tightened. There is a design flaw in my opinion however. The cap is hollowed out and there is a space that will surely collect water and other crud. I filled it with with silicone caulk so I won't have to worry about drying that space.

Seems nice, no o-ring. There is a groove for it, but no o ring installed, or in package, or size listed.
