This purchase is for one skid plate for the KLR650, designed to minimize damage and protect your bike from dirt, mud, and other debris. The skid plate is CNC cut from a solid 4mm sheet of aircraft grade aluminum. The plate is then tig welded and finished with black powder coating to increase durability. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available. This skid plate is also compatible with our engine guards.

So far I've been wonderfully impressed with all of the T-Rex products I have seen first hand or purchased myself. The only downside to this skid plate is the goofy system protecting the rear suspension. It's super thin aluminum so it's not really doing much. But I still like it and I haven't had any issues with it. Just had to manually bend it down away from the bike about a quarter inch.

There's not a lot of clearance for the rear shock linkage so when all the weight is off the rear tire the linkage makes contact with the plate. This skid plate didn't last 1 month before it broke.
