These boots are surprisingly good quality. Love the printing for hunting. Comfy and true fit. Recommend it!

These gaiters were a lifesaver during my recent camping trip. The terrain was pretty rough, with plenty of mud and thick bushes, but they held up incredibly well. My legs stayed completely dry and clean, even when I had to trudge through some pretty deep mud. The adjustable straps were easy to use, ensuring a snug fit around my boots, so there was no slipping or bunching up, which was a huge relief.Later on, I decided to test them out while fishing. Even when the water splashed up onto my legs, these gaiters kept me dry. They’re definitely waterproof as advertised, and I didn’t have to worry about the cold water getting through. These gaiters managed to keep the elements at bay in every situation, making them a reliable piece of gear for the outdoors.

I wore these recently when my wife went out to an unofficial range for some shooting practice. There is lost of shrubs, overgrowth and some snakes. These fit well, and stayed up the entire time. They aren't very breathable, so my shins were a bit sweatier than the rest of me. They do take a little bit to put on with the buckle under the boots and having to thread the strap through the latch at your calf. I'll be wearing these whenever we go for shooting practice and when we go hunting this fall.

I like that these gaiters go up to just below my knee and have an internal belt to cinch them tight. I wear XL pants but went with the L gaiters, and these fit well at the exact velcro match. I thought the top was too loose until I realized the strap pull thru like a drawstring. I do not like how the strap just dangles, like 8” of strap flapping loose. Maybe I’m supposed to tuck it inside the top.Being waterproof, these make my legs very sweaty. They are warm, but do not breathe. The bottom boot strap is not a good fit on my grooved wedge-sole boots. It is made for a raised heel, or a show with a split sole like some hikers/trainers. I could feel myself stepping on it when on hard surfaces, and in the woods it caught sticks. (see photo)I’m not sure I even need that strap, these lay the same on their own, unbuckled. I might try swapping it out for a thin, abrasion-resistant cord. These were good in cold weather, atop of pants. Good on messy, wet ground.Stitched well. Uses a good-quality hook&loop fastener; it fastens well, holds strong. Isn’t too difficult to adjust, but jt does take me a few adjustments to get it flat. The outer material is mud-resistant, and has an excellent camo pattern. Overall I am pleased with these.Has a metal clip at the bottom and a little flat to set the bottom corner square. It helps, but I find starting at the too to be easier.

I'M SENDING THESE BACK, THEY ARE WAY TOO THIN TO BE SNAKE PROOF, WOULD NOT HOLD UP AGAINST A RATTLE SNAKE BITE. MAYBE PROTECTION AGAINST LOW BRUSH OR SNOW.

Great fit and well made, however I don’t know if would stop snake fangs.

Please, please, please do NOT confuse these with snake gaiters as another reviewer did. These do not have the thickness or material required to protect from a venomous bite.I had to postpone a trip so I haven’t had the chance to fully test the waterproofing level on these, but the material it’s made from appears like it will do a great job waterproofing. That is as long as you do a good job lining up the velcro.Compared to a pair of gaiters I already own, these only have velcro while my previous pair has velcro and a zipper. My other pair also has elastic midway up to help keep them secured on the legs. I say that to say these might not have as many bells and whistles as some other options, but how much do you really need in a pair of gaiters? Keeping it simple also helps keep the cost down some.I ordered the XL as someone who is 6’2” and 250 pounds. I typically wear 2XL clothing. They fit pretty snug, and come up to just below my knee cap.The outer material is softer and should help you stay on the quiet side trekking through the woods.Overall I am happy with these and will provide an update if water is seeping through.
