Bought to safely store some extra gas on my boat just in case.Light weight. Very well designed. Easy yo fill and easy to dispense.Has a see through gauge so you know exactly how full the container is when filling so that you don’t overfill.

The screw lid is a bit finicky and no way to Lock the valve closed. so keep it vertical in and with your bag/luggage/whatever-it-is-in. The push valve is not especially tight and will leak a bit if tipped w/out pushing the pour button Sometimes. Really minor points for me though, it sits on a shelf where I use it so not a prob I need to worry about. Keep it in mind for your use-case though.

This is essential for camping or backpacking if you use liquid such as alcohol, kerosene, or gasoline. They work great and make filling lanterns, stoves, etc. easy and clean. My only issue is the price. I think they are way overpriced for what they are. You can buy just the valve but it is crazy high priced at $14.99. Thankfully patents do run out.

Great bottle !!!Made out of a think plastic.Doesn't leak, if used properly.Don't over-tighten it. It will be difficult to re-open.Easy to use, and pour (and stop pouring) fuel accurately. Will be buying some for my kids, probably in red, so that they will have their own fuel for their kits.

I'm no back packer, but I can see the use of these as fuel bottles because they are lighter than the other metal fuel cans. They also have the excellent pour spout that lets you precisely control how much fuel you may be adding to your stove or whatever. My purpose for them isn't as such though.I bought the 1 liter size and am using them as spare gasoline containers for my motorcycle. I am also putting them in my car when I'm not out moto-camping, so I can easily lend fuel to a rider who may have run out. The positive lock on the spout seems as though it will prevent any future leaks, unlike a few metal containers I've had that came unscrewed slightly from being jostled around, spilling fuel everywhere. The one thing I was a bit concerned about is that it's a polycarbonate type bottle with a metal ring around the top. Will that hold the pressure buildup? As most gasolines are supposed to have low-emission vapors today, (something the industry confirms using a 'Reid Vapr Pressure Test) it isn't nearly as much of a risk as it may have been 30 years ago, and even then this thing should hold up fine. The pressure build up from gasoline is generally half that of the inside of a warm shaken soda can. And as my generally unscientific test of pulling and yanking on the spout trying to feel even a bit of weakness against the threads was unsuccesful, I have to say I'm confident these will be fine in my panniers.Being made in a country other than China, where anything goes as far as quality, definitely helped support my decision to purchase these. So far I really like them. I will update this review if that changes.

I am a big fan of this fuel bottle, and from my searching, it seems to be the #1 item to store/transport alcohol fuel. It is certainly the professional way to go about backpacking with an alcohol or multi-fuel stove. Depending on the toxicity of the fuel one is using, it is a great item to use to ensure no leaks, because that methanol in denatured alcohol or HEET is some very nasty stuff if ingested or absorbed in the skin. I have been using Everclear for the guaranteed saftey at the bit higher fuel cost... while also allowing for spiked drinks on the trail, hah.Ok, so maybe you aren't convinced from just the safety perspective. This thing should have some great features above and beyond a home-brew bottle/storage solution, right? To that, indeed it does. First and foremost, it is a durable plastic bottle with a reinforcement ring around the neck. The overall weight is lighter than I expected. The screw cap is where the real safety and convenience come into play, though. The cap's threads are sealed via a snug-fitting O-ring, and the release valve is sealed by a spring-loaded rubber contact seal. It is simplicity itself, and well-crafted.To dispense the fuel, simply partway unscrew the plastic nut on top, which will allow some head room to push down on the assembly against the spring and open the contact seal, allowing fuel to flow. One caveat, push on the top button with the bottle upright if fuel is stored, because there will likely be some evaporated fuel under a bit of pressure, which will prevent sputtering when dispensing the fuel. edit: I am embarrassed to say that I forgot this step recently and the earlier hot day built up some pressure that sprayed a fine mist of alcohol up into the air and a bit on my head, fortunately it wasn't methanol Also, one drawback to the system is that if the bottle is held at too high of an angle while dispensing will allow fuel to flow out of both nozzles. I like the simplicity of the two nozzles, allowing one to act as an air inlet, but at the same time I feel it could have been made a little bit more fool-proof by instead having an air inlet with a simple check valve to prevent undesired fuel flow out the top side. Still, being careful to hold a full bottle horizontally, having some common sense, and practice will all make for a spill-free experience. This thing is near-perfect for dispensing small amount of alcohol fuel. Oh, and don't forget to shake a little bit of fuel out of the nozzle and tighten the top nut again in order to press the contact seal snug (not too tight).
