Assembled easily. Heavy duty, will handle basically anything you'll be able to fit on it. Very handy way to add some extra storage space - especially for those types of things you don't want INSIDE your vehicle.

I used this for extra storage outside of my small SUV. It is heavy and took 2 people install. It easily held 2 large plastic containers. I did add reflective tape for safety.

This is an excellent product. Well built and ready to give you that extra space for those long road trips, camping excursions, or whatever! The included clamp to eliminate hitch chatter is a bonus as well. You can’t go wrong with this one!

This Trailer Hitch Cargo Rack is mounted in the front of my truck. It comes in handy when I need to quickly put something that's too heavy to carry right in the front. I usually use this to get the heavy packages at the end of my private driveway and bring them to my front door. I recommend.

If I were to tell you that I already own another trailer hitch cargo rack and still got this one too, you might wonder why? The answer is always have the proper tool for the job to help make life easier. My other cargo rack is 32 inches deep by 48 inches wide, and flat without sides. That makes it great for large items that may have overhang or still fit within it. But, you really have to strap things down because there are NO safety sides to it. And it is over kill on things like fuel cans needing to get refilled.This rack on the other hand is 53” x 19”, just perfect for everything and anything that you can put into it with the safety sides and is much easier to strap anything down to it with the 360 degree rails around it. With my other rack strapping is difficult and it does not have the sturdy bottom of rib sections as this one does. It just has a wire grate on top of the center beam reaching to all edges and it is very heavy. So I often have to put a plywood board on it to make the bottom more stiff as this one is. This cargo rack has a great base to it for items you put on it and is very light weight but of sturdy solid construction. This cargo rack is now my preferred rack to use for everything that will fit into it. And especially for transporting 5 gallon fuel containers or propane tanks for refill. And that includes the much added safety issues as I see so many people putting gas cans and propane cans INSIDE their vehicles in which they are also in for transport which to me is absolutely crazy and unsafe. Every time I get in my car I see people tailgating others while they drive and a fast stop with fuel inside the car can be a very unhappy ending to a crash. But put this cargo rack onto your trailer hitch with some fuel cans or propane tanks and nobody tail gates you. In fact they keep their proper distance from behind you. Amazing huh? Bottom line is... if you have a trailer hitch on your vehicle or are going to get one, then get this cargo carrier too. You will not be disappointed. BTW, set up from the box to assembled is fast and easy.

I bought this for going hunting, i had no room for coolers in bed of truck because i was hauling my ATV. but this thing did its job and more it held 2 Medium size coolers one with food and one with drinks side by side that i strapped down easily to frame. was easy to put together and easy to use.
