  • No. Adding air springs will not change the weight ratings (GAWR, GCWR and/or GVWR) of a vehicle. Exceeding the GVWR is dangerous.

  • Maintain the minimum 5 PSI air pressure at all times to keep the air spring in shape and ensure it moves throughout its travel without rubbing or wearing on itself

  • If it is necessary to lift the vehicle by the frame, first release the air pressure from the air springs. After servicing of the vehicle is complete, lower the vehicle to the ground and reinflate the air helper springs to the desired pressure.

Everything looks great except missing 2 nut's for airbags.

I give this a difficulty rating of seven out of 10. It is easier than changing your own oil. But it is harder than changing your water pump. The rudimentary description was hard to follow. After all inspection , there were two nuts missing. After a trip to the hardware store, I began the process of installment.

Instructions were a big vague, but with a little mechanical aptitude, it was an easy install. The pictures in the Instructions were helpful. The 3/4 nuts used to secure the top of the airbag to the upper bracket were missing. The u-bolts also had threads that were damaged so I had to chase the threads on both u-bolts. I have not put any weight on them yet so I can't comment yet as to how they perform.

It dose the job very well. I put an air compressor and regulator so I can adjust anytime. It made a very big difference in handling and performance. Better mpg. It’s worth it.

Received the kit which was a big box of nuts and bolts not labeled of any sort just thrown in the box at this point I was hoping nothing came up missing during shipping. Started to review the instructions only to find out the instructions sent with the kit were not for that kit. No big deal called and received instructions via email. Not clear at all but figured I would give it my best shotFast forward to installation, after reviewing the instructions to the vehicle it was determined the wrong bracket was sent in the kit. Called to have the proper bracket sent out was told it would be here in a few days because overnight shipping wasn't available. Figured I would go ahead and install the air bag on the one side as it appeared to be complete, again trying to figure out exact placement and which bolt and frame hole to use because the instructions weren't clear at all. It appears the spacers were not thick enough but I chose to continue to see if it would all come together at the end. Assuming I had it all right and it appeared to fit ok I went to install the u bolt only again to find the u bolt was too short, at this point I was over it and determined my best course of action was to return the kit

Update: sellers responded and are sending out a new parts, the correct instructions, and a complimentary Tee for the air lines. I installed it on a 2005 f4x4 with gooseneck hitch relatively easily. The kit looks and works well. However, I was still missing 2 large nuts from the kit. So obviously there could be some QC on complete kit parts.Original review: The instructions in kit I was sent were for a completely different kit. And on top of that I was missing 2 required brackets.
