I carry this stand in my rack bag while riding my 1985 Bridgestone T700 touring bike. It's the perfect solution to a kickstand which is difficult to fit on these vintage touring bikes that have brazed on brackets for extra spokes on the drive side chainstay. If you own one these beautiful bikes you understand what I'm saying. The Flashstand RX is well made and pretty sturdy as a substitute for a kickstand. It's pretty light too. Topeak makes some nice accessories.

Works as advertised for cross bike and road bike. Does not take the place of a full bicycle work stand but is perfect for holding the bike for changing rear tire/tubes, indexing gears and basic maintenance. Extremely lightweight but strong - can be carried on bike expeditions where you need a mini-stand to hold up your bike for minor maintenance. Folds up. Would purchase again. Great for those living in apartments or needing to work on bike in a small area or if you do not have a bike maintenance stand.

This stand works great for high-end road and mountain bikes with thicker tubing.

This is the new version that fits larger carbon Frames. Fits my Scott Addict perfectly. I'm planning on taking it with me to Majorca as it will easily fit in my bike box and be very useful when setting the bike back up. As others have said it isn't that sturdy and not something you would use for any serious bike maintenance, nor would I trust leaving it outside if there was any significant wind. However, it allows you to turn the crank and check gears easily, lube your chain and not have the bike leaning on something. Displays the bike better, good for photo's etc. It's really light and folds up compact so take anywhere. Definitely a handy little stand to own and good value for what it is, in addition to a more permanent and robust stand and/or a dedicated maintenance stand.

The product came with a stripped screw. After some work I got to barely work on one of my three bikes. Save the bother don't buy.
