Not long ago, I broke the OEM tom holder that came with my ddrum kit (I hit pretty hard). I needed something quick , so I grabbed this, It feels just as sturdy as the original holder, and WAY more than some other foreign-made inexpensive holders.If you need a replacement, this is the way to go!

This was a great idea but they could’ve uses solid wing nuts to tighten the ball joint. I was trying to get it to stay and couldn’t get it to tighten all the and then felt like it stripped out. I look and the winged bolt is a nut and stud with thread locker adhesive. The wing nut just broke free and was spinning down the nut. It only happened on one of the handful I bought. I just cleaned off the threads and applied stronger thread locker. Working great now. I’ve never seen that hardware set up. I would buy again but purchase another type of fastener

This mount goes against everything that makes having a ball mount joint worth while. The thing they do not tell you in the description is that you need your own allen key to loosen 3 bolts for the ball joint to move. And to make matters worse, those allen bolts are on the bottom side of the mount. You'd think looking at the images that you would just loosen the large wing nut at the top to make your adjustments, but no! Very poor design, skip it.
