This wire terminal set is pretty good value considering the quality of the crimpers it comes with. They actuate relatively smoothly, feels like they'll work for a long time. They won't be the best but good enough for everyday use. Connector quality is good as well, acceptable at its worst and pretty sturdy if crimped properly. Easy to use kit and all the cable sizes fit properly in the callouts marked. No issues.

For occasional and light duty use, this isn't a terrible set of connectors. If you're using in applications where there is no chance of movement, they will work fine. This would include RV lighting and other small 12/24V applications. Honestly, the crimper is subpar but it's cool that it is included. If you're using these on a regular basis at a shop or in a hobby, I would recommend a better crimping tool. I have a couple of crimpers and only used this one to try it out and I didn't feel that it applied consistent force to the wire/terminal joint. That said, too much force isn't good either but like I said, it's inconsistent across the same size terminals. The connectors work well and do shrink up tight when the proper gauge wire is used.

These connectors and tools worked out great. The connectors are solid, and the crimping tool gets the job done. Stripping wires is a breeze with the included tool. It was my first time using a product like this and everything works as intended. Great value for the money and I would recommend it to others.

My husband says this is awesome. He needed the crimpers but was quite happy to get the connectors as well. It is a good kit.

The metal they stamped these connectors out of is some of the thinnest stuff I've every seen. I can squeeze them shut with my bare hands if there's no wire inserted. I didn't buy this kit for the connectors but I figured I'd at least get some usable, cheap spade terminals for quick and dirty repairs but I chucked them straight in the trash after making a few test crimps.The tools themselves are adequate. I own some very nice strippers and crimpers that stay on my workbench at home. I bought these to throw in the bag I take with me when I do work outside my shop because tools go missing all the time and I don't care if these get misplaced or broken.The strippers work fine for most types of wire but you have to be a little gentile when stripping softer insulation like silicone. The jaws that grab and pull the wire thru the stripper blade are pretty sharp and they will tear softer insulation if you aren't careful. The tension on the jaws is adjustable to some extent, and the stripper blade is an actual piece of tool steel instead of just being molded into the other jaw. The wire cutter that's built into the grip is also a separate piece of tool steel; unfortunately the grips don't line up perfectly when you squeeze them so actually cutting wire can be a challenge if you're not paying attention to what you're doing. By itself, I'd give the stripper 4 stars for it's price to quality ratio.The crimpers are pretty much the same story. They only come with jaws for doing insulated connectors, which I found work best if you use one size down from the connector you're crimping (i.e. blue slot for a yellow connector). The good news is that the jaws are removable so in theory you could pick up some compatible dies and swap them out to be able to crimp other connectors. The ratchet mechanism works well and provides plenty of leverage. I can't find any fault in how they work. The grips are pretty cheap and slide around a little bit if you squeeze really hard but it hasn't created any problems in day to day use. I would rate these 4 out of 5 stars, again for the price to quality ratio.These tools are the bare minimum quality I'd consider carrying with me for most jobs. If you don't own any crimpers or auto-strippers, buy some good quality ones instead of these (Irwin at a minimum). These are backup tools and priced accordingly.And just throw away the connectors.

Great for light to medium duty applications.I have a small lighting project for my RV. Rewiring the rear view monitor camera for the RV and new brake lights.The ratchet style crimping toolMake the work easy and seamless. Works nicely responsive to the task at hand.The connectors perform as one would expect. Provides a quick and easy wire connections.Overall a nice kit for the novice of DIYer weekend warrior. Highly recommended for easy of use and quality that is acceptable and reliable.

Overall, the crimpers seem heavy duty but the connectors aren't that great. The metal varies from 0.45 mm to 0.80 mm thick for the smallest to largest connectors. While 0.80 mm is decent, 0.45 mm is pretty thin. These would be okay for light-duty applications where you expect just to connect it once and let it be.The crimpers are designed for connectors with the plastic shielding on them. You can tell from the photo (attached) that the metal connector tube is actually smaller than the gap in the jaws when fully closed. What this means is that the strength of the crimp really depends on the stiffness of the plastic. The plastic seems pretty compressible so I'm not sure how strong these crimps will be. The other thing to keep in mind is that your crimps aren't going to be strong at all unless your wires fills most of the empty space in that connector tube. This limits the usefulness of these connectors as well.I will probably use these for some of my applications but I might use another crimper where I can close the jaws more around the connector better.
