Perfect size for the car and just takes minutes to assemble. Made of quality material, is light weight and can extend to 40 inches. A good value for the money.

Didn't come with screws. Maybe i got a returned shovel? I'm not sure. But it's just as small and compact as I expected and will fit great in the back of my Honda fit.

Collapsible and easy to travel with. That's what you're paying for. And that's what this delivers.

Got it for an emergency shovel for the truck- we get crazy snow storms… for light powder snow, this will work great (snowmobiling?). Heavy wet or icy laden snow- I suspect this will break. It folds nice away for compact storage so it doesn’t take a lot of space in the trunk. If you live in a moderate climate that has intermittent weather issues, great idea. Heavy snow areas- I’d avoid folding options… very lightweight- kids can use it…

This is a much better car shovel than the plastic ones I have used over the years. The plastic ones tend to break when you need them the most. This car shovel is very small so you would only use it in case of an emergency. Being mostly aluminum and with heavy construction is has both light weight and durability. The large black support in the center of the shovel gives you the strength to chip at ice without breaking the shovel but it also makes snow removal less efficient.Ice is the key. What broke my old shovels was ice. Removing snow is simple but at the bottom is often ice. This car shovel has a slight point in the middle of the metal shovel that helps you pick at the ice. This shovel is no ice breaker so keep away from thick ice. As shovels go it has a shovel head at a slight angle from the handle making it easier to move snow. Dry powder snow is going to be hard to move with this shovel but wet snow is not so bad. This shovel cannot compare with a residential shovel for ease of use or efficient snow removal, but it does a reasonably good job moving small sections of snow and ice. After you have assembled the shovel there are three lengths, the folded position, the short length, and the long length. The black plastic handle does not separate or move on the red shaft. It is held on by four screws that you better tighten lightly because the screws only go into thin aluminum.Overall, it met my expectations for a car shovel, but the price was a bit high against comparable products.
