The most difficult 90 minute install I've done in recent memory. Its fairly straight forward to install however, the design of this kit makes it incredibly frustrating. The upper flange and nut assembly has the nut welded do you can't get a box wrench on it to hold it. The spacer is round, so it needs to be held, where they could have just made it square and index inside the area its in which would require no need to hold it. The threads are painted over which makes it difficult to thread in, requiring a stubby impact while you are trying to hold a vice grip between the spring coils. What's more, the spacer didn't fit on one side so I needed to grind it down to align properly. Thankfully I have a stubby impact wrench and a grinder. They use a long bolt that requires you thread the assembly upward into the upper flange/nut which is cumbersome and takes multiple attempts. If they used a stud and another nut this would have been much better. The instructions are also a small print one pager, its almost like they used Chinese product instructions for inspiration.I ordered through their website, but it seems I would have saved ordering here. Its not a bad product, but they definitely cut corners in the design and assembly to make it fast and cheap, not easy to install. That said: 3 stars.

So easy to install, but take Tire off as it’s almost impossible if you don’t. Can’t even tell they are on until you hitch up a camper then truck stays and rides nice and level almost stock like. No hassle with air, done that never again. Wish I had more money to put on front just incase I hit a speed bump or big pothole.

Good news: these is an authentic Timbren product. It’s the JRGD model (SES version, not the active off-road version). I don’t know who created this Amazon product page, but they didn’t put any information on here. The SES version is more stiff and prevents suspension sag when towing. The active off-road version is more squishy and soft for off-roading.

Just installed on my jeep gladiator made a huge difference on towing!! Definitely buy it you won’t be sorry. Crazy thing is I almost traded in my truck and now I don’t need to.
