It was a relatively easy install. A little difficult getting it up and into the groove that holds it in place. I should probably have used some sort of a lubricant like petroleum jelly. Safe to use on rubber.

This was the perfect fit for our 1997 Fleetwood Sport. Used spray silicone to lube and our toilet is now holding water again.

Kinda difficult to put in place but Vaseline worked good does not tell you only in RV toilet diagram there is a track for blade wedge between blade & track grease really helps! Afraid of cracking blade not much room took out put back again got it !

A little tricky to install, but once it's on no more leaking water from stool. I recommend wadding some newspaper in the hole under the gasket, because you will drop it the first try, lol.

Easy to install by removing Aquamagic IV toilet and accessing from both top and bottom. Just pull out the old seal and carefully fit the new one in its place. It worked fine the first time with no leaks.

1995 minnie winnie thetford aqua magic 4.There are 3 seals . This one underneath of toilet.A smaller one that mounts on open close valve. And a pressure valve behind toilet. Its a good idea to change all of them out, even if its one of the others change this seal out too, because all the sitting on the toilet tears thus one up good.

Before starting, I lubed the seal with plumber's valve grease. Dish soap or hand soap would have probably worked better. The old seal needs to be pulled down, out of a groove, so the blade needs to be open to do this. I used an angled needle nose pliers to get it started because I had it handy. A small screwdriver or angled pick would have worked fine or better. I installed the new seal with the blade closed to avoid dropping it into the black tank. I pushed down on the blade while pushing the seal in place. My final step was to open the blade and reach around to ensure it was pushed up evenly all the way around.

This seal was very easy to install as I had already removed the toilet to replace the flooring, so it was installed from the bottom. I removed the old one and just slipped on the new one then lubed with a silicone grease. After re installing the toilet the first few times the flapper was a bit stiff to open but now works great and holds water in the bowl. Happy DW.

Once the toilet is removed it's easy to install. There are no instructions but it's basically a big tapered O ring. It was harder to get the old one out (hardened and stuck) than to put the new one in. While I had the toilet out I cleaned it thoroughly (wear gloves this is a dirty job) Solved the problem! Now I'm a happy camper! The reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because how can you "love" a toilet part?
