It is important to do your research for your particular area before buying an antenna. You need to know how far you are from a broadcast tower and what bands the channels available to you are. You can find this at fcc.gov and antennaweb.org. For my location my channels were mostly UHF with the exception of one Hi-VHF. This made the Televes Boss antenna with an 80mile range which pulls both UHF and VHF signals just what I needed. I live in a rural wooded area some 50miles from the broadcast tower. The Televes antenna is good quality especially when compared to other antennas I’ve tried. Once put together and installed I was able to pick up 52 channels! The reception is very good and I am no longer paying for my locals!

All the parts are fabricated well. Assembly is fine if you stick to the instructions, and go about it slowly. I watched a video on Televes put out that greatly assisted the assembly and I used it (with lots of pausing) along with the printed instructions. I used an RCA mini yagi antenna prior, and while that unit was nice when I first installed it, we've since erected a large shed that got in the way, and a neighbor built a large house and shed that further inhibited the signal. Even with an amp, we weren't able to split the signal, and only got a handful of channels after the shed and the neighbor's buildings went up. That and all the channels I wanted were in the vicinity of 50-60 miles away. I could only draw one of the major network channels, and even they were spotty. I assembled the Televes and placed it in a terrible location (front porch, and lower than the RCA). It's tilted sort of downward to boot. This is a temporary location; don't need a big honkin' tv antenna on my front porch. Either way, I plugged two coax cables to two separate tv's and immediately got nearly double the channels I had been getting, and all the major network channels are now crystal clear on both tv's. This antenna is the real deal in my opinion.

Best antenna I have purchased. Picking up stations 50 miles away continuously. I am able to get all US networks for free.

This is the best of the Best for clear and distant channels. I read that the build-up out of the box was tough. Not so. Just take your time. I built up and installed it in less than 2 hours. I live 45 miles from Portland Oregon. In the rolling Coast range. I am not at the top of one of the hills. So I have tried other antennae. They failed badly. But,this 149884 did the trick. Runs both my TV sets with 24 channels. My others would only pick up 6 to 8.The PSU was super easy to get setup. All good. The price was a bit spendy but well worth it.I will be buting another for my Mt cabin soon as weather breaks in the spring. Side note. I replaced ALL 75 ohm with Heavy RG-6. Should last for years. SO CUT THE CABLE and save on Streaming.

Installed for my elderly parents, who live in North York, Ontario. Getting 30 channels, all coming in crystal clear. Assembly and installation was easy. Recommended.

This antenna is like assembling a 3D wood puzzle. The instructions are poor. Good news is there is a great video on YouTube that will take you step by step through the assembly. The antenna comes with an assembly wrench. It is small, but works. You will probably find a ratchet wrench easier to use. I did. Also, I paid for the services of the Antenna Man to review my signal area and explain what I would need to do during installation. I recommend his service also. I would start with the Antenna Man doing a study of the signal in my area and then buying an antenna he recommends. I did it backwards and bought the antenna then asked for help. All that being said, I live in a fringe area for TV signal. It is so bad that a few more miles east and there would be no signal. The signal at the TV with my old antenna was 50% and variable. Some days there was no signal at all. After installing the antenna the signal strength at the TV went up to 70% and signal quality was 98% and that was without the amplifier. With the amplifier on, the signal at the TV went up to 78% and still 98% in quality. Picture quality has improved also. The best part is the signal is very stable now. So there is no digital fade out of the picture or sound. Remember, I am in a fringe area and the signal is poor to start with. The only negative I see on the antenna is it does have some plastic parts. The plastic seemed rather cheap and I’m wondering how long it will last in the weather.

After tracing down my Purolator package , without zero help from Purolater Sntenns was finally picked up miles from delivery location However thankfully products high level quality made purchase worth it . It’s large but light and balanced . On roof not very high . On first test it had perfect reception of the same amount of stations found on my previous one ( but HD ) . Next day with a compass I repointed it to farthest stations and wow. Double the stations all perfect. Precisely point it snd it’s amazing.
