Most of the real flowers that I have gotten don't fit through the holes as most have been too thick. They work better for the most part with artificial flowers, but even some of those end up being too thick for the slots.

This is a pack of 2 plastic flower arrangement holders, particularly for the art of ikebana, or Japanese flower arrangement. Two sizes are included. I use these for ikebana arrangements and the two sizes are especially useful since I have vases of varying dimensions. These are well made and do the job well.

Really handy for keeping flower stems in the vase without relying on the neck of the vase for support. Easy to use, just pass the stems through the two sets of holes and twist - very convenient and inexpensive for a great effect.

I have been seeing something like this advertised on social media and came across it on Amazon. I use a Fiesta pitcher for my flowers and they always had to lean to one side. This solves that problem. I bought a small bunch to test this out, so I used the smaller of the two holders which has 9 holes. You first put in the stems - the bottom holes are rubber, so they will expand for the "knots" where the flower leaves come out, and that's what keeps them taught to the holder. You then cut the stems to the length you want. This is when you twist the older. In my photo I have it twisted all the way, which makes the bunch look pretty sparse, but I adjusted to what looked good when I put it in my pitcher vase. You can then add other greens around if wanted. This holder works as a great base to get the primary flowers in place.
