Bought these for my outdoor lights but little secret : they also work on curio lights as well and is much cheaper than lets say lowes or some place that sells curios

These bulbs are a snap to install, and are switcheable between 'bright' and 'dim' if your panel allows it.Even the dim setting is plenty bright enough for recessed lighting and probably increased the longevity compared to the 'bright setting'.I got probably 18 months use out of them before about one-third of the bulbs blew. The rated life is 2000 hours, but I can say I got a lot more that that out of them.For under $1/per light, this is very affordable and the relatively long liftime should reduce the minor inconvenience of replacing them as needed. But don't misplace the spares. I tape my spares to the undersurface of the shelf that contains the recessed lights, so they are exactly where they need to be, when they are needed.

These bulbs work well, but they don't seem to last as long as described.Regardless, they're cheap enough, that it doesn't really matter...I am very satisfied....

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I Bought these to replace Phillips bulb that was factory original in Ikea lamp. The original lasted for 5 years of nightly use and was consistently bright white. These ones start bright white, but rapidly dim to a soft yellow light at decreased intensity. Only getting about 5 to 6 months on these before burning out.
