Directions state that the inner chamber is not connected to the exterior layer so it's important to inflate the ball as instructed so as to not inadvertently poking a hole through the inner chamber

I bought this for my son because he was interested in joining his school's volleyball team. This allowed him to practice at home. He gutted out the weeks of conditioning, daily practice sessions and week long tryouts to make the team as a freshman. This and the training tether set were useful.

outstanding ball. Not too soft or too hard. Only problem was valve inside came loose right away but it was handled quickly and easily. I bought another to replace it
