Needed an extra Switch charger because despite having 2 switches in our house, there always seems to be a charger that's missing. This one does the trick nicely. When we can't find one of the ones that came with the switches, we pull this one out, and then put it back when we find the missing cord.

This Switch charger works well to charge your Switch and your phone, too. It is USB C and outputs 5V / 1.5A or 15V / 2.6A. The length of the cable is acceptable, advertised at 4.9 Ft. The cable is reinforced at the wall brick and also at the plug end. However, the sturdiness of the reinforcement is not as good as other Switch chargers, thus the 4 star rating. Time will tell how long it will hold up. So far it is working well. Not bad for the price.

So, there's a funny story to this whole thing. It started when one of our stupid rabbits decided to eat the power cord to my laptop and made it no longer usable. That's a topic for a whole other discussion, but anyway, I no longer had a way to charge my laptop and freaked out. It was in that moment I saw my daughter's power cord for her Switch and realized it used USB-C connection and thought, hey, this might work to charge my laptop. (Despite my laptop not using a USB-C charger initially) I plugged the connecter into my laptop on the USB-C port and behold - a red charging light came on! Eureka! I said screw the HP adapter and started using that all the time. Well, there was a problem in this because eventually, my daughter was getting pretty peaved at me for having her adapter all the time either charging my laptop or charging my iPhone 15 Pro and she couldn't charge her Switch. So, I went on Vine and searched and found this one. When I got it, I immediately went to plug it into my laptop and it worked just as good. Same with my iPhone. Nice! Now, there are no issues with keeping my devices charged and no issues with my daughter yelling at me to return her cord. In fact, the only issue now is her power cord has also gotten chewed up a bit by the same stupid rabbit. Not to the point it doesn't work - yet. But if that point comes, I will definitely order another one of these for her. It works and looks just like the original, just no logo on it. In fact, I would almost prefer that anyway.

I was kind of hesitant to order because it's a 3rd party charger which I would plug in to a high price item but this actually was surprisingly great. I was in a hurry to get a replacement after my dog thought it was a chew toy but no problem so far. The build quality and the speed of charge isn't affected from what I can tell. Only time will tell if this will last for a long time.

I got this not because I have a Switch but because I needed another reliable USB-C charger for my phone, my tablet, and a few random other devices, so I don't have to keep dragging chargers around from one room to another. I've tested this with all of them now and it works great. It's faster than my default phone charger, so no complaints!

I purchased this power supply to replace my original that was damaged during moving. It looks just like the original and works great! It appears that most of the original features are the same in this one, including charging speed. The cord is a bit longer, which is great! Best feature is great on the wallet! A great deal! Overall I recommend this if you’re in the market for a replacement power supply!
