Looks good, sound is soothing. Only downfall is that the back part where the pump is located does not close all the way and isn’t very aesthetic

I am using this in my reptile enclosure, and it works great!! The first week it started to not flow as well and after messing around with the filter and the unit I realized there was a sponge at the top to filter debris! After a good rinse it was running smoothly again.I got this fountain specifically for the way it is sealed at the back. No big debris can get in unless it goes into the hole the water flows through at the bottom pond.As long as you keep that sponge clean it works amazing. I took it out a bit for the photos but it sits inside the top "boulder".

JUNK I use this at the lowest water flow adjustment. Worked fine for the first few weeks. Then, as particles of light brown paint dissolved from the insides of the four "bowls" it began to plug up the "sponge" they had stuffed into the top outlet to lame attempt to control the POORLY DESIGNED water flow, everything changed! The 3 top cascades of water began to run down the walls of the bowls instead of falling into the little pools. End of cascading water. And since paint the has washed off, the overall appearance of the fountain is diminished. And no more pretty tiers of cascading water. Now I'm waiting for the dissolved paint particles to plug the pump, ending everything. I'm now past the return period, so I GUESS I'M STUCK WITH THIS PIECE OF EXPENSIVE JUNK.

This is an update on my previous review, I absolutely love everything about this fountain except the fact it quit working within 2 months of its' first use. The pump still works but there seems to be an obstruction at the top where water feeds into the top rock. I cannot reach in there and disconnect it nor can I see the top of the tube in hopes of fixing the problem. Really disappointed.I wanted running water in my home for Feng Shui. The water sounds are lovely, I want to be able to hear the foundation running. Easy to put together and is really nice looking

I work one-on-one with clients, remotely, and the pace and intensity has made me increasingly exhausted over the years.This little fountain is part of my attempt to create a calming home office environment, and if today was any indication, it’s working. Here are my initial thoughts on Day One.Sound:The trickling water sound is subtle. Clients couldn’t hear it, but I could and I found it soothing. The sound of the pump is nearly inaudible. We could only hear it with everything else in the environment being quiet, and even then we had to put out ear near the pump. Super quiet, if not nearly silent pump.Visual:I like the look (slightly rugged/realistic) and feel (heavy). It’s definitely diminutive; the measurements are in the product description. I’m not a fan of the strident LED bulbs but I knew they were part of the deal when I bought the fountain so I can’t complain. I only wish there was an option for a warmer colored light.Cost:Absolutely reasonable. No regrets.Assembly/setup instructions:The little booklet is clearly written by someone who isn’t a native English speaker. That’s not bothersome except for a few confusing lines that slowed our setup process. It probably added maybe five minutes to the 12-15 minute setup process as we second guessed ourselves. But it all worked out in the end.

I love this fountain - the look of it is attractive and gives a peaceful feeling. It provides just the right amount of water sound - not too much or too little, with NO splashing! The pump is extremely quiet, at least most of the time - it occasionally makes a little bit of noise for a while, I'm kind of assuming it may suck up some bit of debris on those occasions, because it's so quiet the rest of the time - virtually can't even tell it's running. As mentioned in other reviews the LED lights are bright, but that is easily remedied by a few well-placed rocks (a previous separate purchase), to cover or divert the light. I do like the light once the rocks toned it down, it definitely adds to the fountain. The only 'negative' I can post is that it's a little awkward getting to the pump, etc., since it's all self-contained within the fountain, but it's doable and I don't know how else it could be handled other than if the fountain had a bowl under it that the pump rested in, but of course that would give it a bigger footprint and it's a nice compact size as is - not too small, not too big. No complaints, very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others!

I was slightly concerned about this product upon receipt as the instructions were universal for this and a series of other tabletop water fountains produced by this same manufacturer... because they were universal, the schematics didn't really exactly match this specific item and it was a bit of a pain to prepare (and I was worried I was going to damage something the entire time). However, I interpreted the instructions based on what I thought they were trying to communicate and sure enough it worked!I had purchased this product as a means to provide soothing ambient noise at my desk in the office and to keep my plant company, and this product does the trick on both accounts! My coworkers love it and find it hilarious; they are constantly asking me what my next addition to my workspace will be. I have yet to decide between a golden Buddha idol and a zen pebble garden. Perhaps I will flip a coin.In conclusion, this is a quality product at an affordable price (and is the perfect size for a desk). It gets four stars simply on account of the slight difficulty of setup and the lack of specificity in the instructions. If you, too, are looking for a way to humor your coworkers and achieve total consciousness, take a chance on this bad boy. I did, and so I've got that goin' for me, which is nice.
