This is a very attractive fountain but the solar panel only generates power in direct line up with sun. I wish it was plug-in instead.

Hooking up the hose to the pump was the most difficult part, but when it was all done, it was well worth it.

Like the nice clean lines on the fountain and the charming frog feature. It makes a pleasant sound and the pump seems well made and adequate for the size of the fountain.

This solar powered fountain holds a good amount of water for the size and has a strong water flow when the sun is out. Aesthetically pleasing and a good addition to our garden.

The tube definitely kinks and it's very hard to connect tube from inside the bowl to the frog. I had to cut off a small slice to fit. The frog broke off and so far attempts to glue it back on has not worked. I thought it was the movement of clouds that prevented continuous water flow, but today is very sunny and it keeps shutting off even though I have moved it in direct sunlight. I would like to try another pump.

I really like the size and construction of this fountain. It was very easy to assemble and the foam covered connection on the frog is great for protecting against breakage. I bought this fountain to replace one I purchased last year, which I chipped during assembly.

Doesn't work unless the frog is tipped leaning so far into the pool, it eventually falls in. Also solar panel is not very strong.

I purchased this product recently and received the item in a week.Packing: The packaging was good; though on the bigger side, but it ensured that the item was received without any damage especially since it is ceramic.Assembly: Assembly instructions were short but straightforward and I dont expect a very detail one which is cumbersome to read and understand. Some illustrations were also there for each part.Working: Unfortunately, the item did not work and we thought it could be because of hazy weather as other reviews were giving stress to the point that it need good sunlight. We tried different angles, places with no luck.Current state: I first thought of either returning or to give a call to the seller as it is not working. But my wife suggested to hold on to it as a show piece atleast as she found it very attractive amidst our patio garden.Future: Probably I will cut the wires to see as to whether it is the solar panel or the pump which is defective. I might later try to make it "electric" by connecting to a 12v source from the mains rather than solar so that it can work even at nights.I will give an update in 2-3 months once I do the modifications.

I love the look but it's functionality is practically useless. The bowl or 'pond' is only about 3" deep and when you fill it, about 1/3 of the water runs out the hose hole in the back. The instructions say to keep the pump submerged but that is virtually impossible based on the depth of the useable water. Not sure how well the solar panel works as the water keeps running out. The pump actually pumps about five minutes a day if you're lucky enough to see it. Very disappointed...a waste of $70 dollars...do not purchase. Will probably end up filling it with dirt and planting something in it!
