This kit included everything I needed to install the shade sail we purchased, but it is far too light duty for our application. The screws needed to be much heavier grade, so I went and purchased them separately. I didn't want to risk the brackets getting ripped out of the posts with the original screws, so I did this preemptively. I would have liked to see the turnbuckles have a more pronounced "S" and/or a latch for extra security during heavy wind. We did lose a single corner off the turnbuckle when a sudden storm came in. Easy to reinstall, just not when convenient to have people panicking about the sail whipping in the wind.

This hardware appears to be of high quality. The finishes look good, welds look consistent etc. I received exactly what's in the photos. Only time will tell if it will hold up to the elements since it's designed to be outdoors.

This kit worked great to put up my solar shade. It has all the parts you need for a square or rectangular solar shade. It even has spare parts and some you might not use.The ratchets are the best part. These ensure you get a nice snug pull on the solar shade. I have no complaints with this kit.

Got this to install a sun shade over a hot tub to prevent leaves from falling into it. The hardware seems very durable. It's tucked into a little nook behind the house so it doesn't get strong winds very often. But it seems like the hardware would withstand strong winds very well. Worked great for what I needed!

Purchased a sail that didn't come with rope so this hardware will help get it set up with minimal effort. It comes with everything you need, well made and very sturdy. I will have to update my review in a few months to let you know if it holds up :)

I have used this kit to install my 10’ by 10‘ rectangular sun sail over the patio.It wasn’t clear from the listing how large a sail this kit was designed for but I have had no trouble even in moderately strong winds.If you haven’t done this before, it is worth getting advice on positioning the paddies but the turnbuckles allow easy tensioning to give a nice taught sail that looks good and doesn’t flap.All parts are good quality.

The metal parts in this set of shade installation hardware seem quite strong and durable. Before even attempting to install a large shade, I hooked all the pieces together to a wall bracket and applied weight until the bracket started to bend. Even the fully extended turnbuckle seems sturdy enough for the 12x20' shade. They haven't had to stand up to snow yet but seem like they'll easily outlast the shade. The only drawback is the short fasteners which I always replace with longer heavier ones on projects like this anyway.
