Great replacement to my older, functional and accurate branded stud finder. Never regretted buying this. The supplied battery is just a junker, just use a brand new 9 volt battery to get an accurate readings.

Good for finding studs when you want to hang a big screen tv. Not something I would use if I were a contractor; but, good for a homeowner.

I bought this one because it has good recent reviews but just my luck I got one dead out the box! The battery it came with is swollen so I used a brand new 9v from the drawer nothing didn’t even light up. I know what you’re thinking what if the new battery was dead not the stud finder well I did what every one would do I tapped it on my tongue and pissed myself a little. Then got my multi meter and tested it the right way, battery is good stud finder bad. Currently waiting on Amazon for a refund.
