I strung lights off of these outside. The wing bent the eye hooks open. I imagine they are cheaper alloy. If you can get better eye hooks this is a great set

This is exactly what you need to repair a sagging fence gate or to create an outdoor hanging light patio space for an amazing price. All the hardware and materials arrived as described on the listing, eye hooks, crimps, and 167 ft or stainless wire, etc. The wire is coated with a plastic type coating and the description doesn't provide information on weight restrictions. I used the wire to hang solar powered lights in the space above my patio. The diameter of the wire is 1.5 mm, approximately .06 inches. I would be cautious hanging anything weighing more than 15 -20 lbs. Great for decorative projects and or light weight applications.

The cable that came with our pool cover failed the first month it was in use. The wire just sapped, causing the cover to drop into the pool last year, resulting in a nightmare pool opening this year. I found this cable and thought it looked like a much better option, and when it arrived, I found it is much heavier duty, and the perfect gauge of cable to run through the grommets on the cover, ad to use the tensioner that the other wire used. All of the hardware appears to be good quality stuff, and I'm sure it will all come I handy for projects around the home and farm. The various hooks and tensioners can be very useful. If you're using t to hang strings of lights, it's going to be far stronger than anything the elements can put it through. The cable should last a lifetime for projects like that. I'm guessing it will last much longer than the pool cover I'm securing with it. I'm very pleased.

My wife puts up a LOT of lights. A lot. Have I mentioned she puts up a lot of lights? This is a great idea. In past years, many of the strings were either on the ground or self supporting, both of which aren't so good for the light strings. Now she can easily string cables to support the light strings. This will really help. It will even be easier to remove the lights at the end of the season. We have a crimp tool and a cable cutter, so that helped. Brilliant Idea!

Sort of hard to tell from the picture, but I used this kit to create a floating suspension hanger for my VR headset cabling. Using 3 of the threaded eye anchors, 3 of the turnbuckles, a key ring, and some of the swags/loops, I was able to place the center right in the middle of the play space, and tightened everything using the turnbuckles. Everying is very tight and secure, I feel better about using this setup than having everything anchored into the ceiling.You can use nearly any pliers for crushing the swags, but I used a pair of wire strippers/crimpers and had great success.I would highly recommend this kit to anyone looking for nice and secure cable mounting!
