Great balls. Are really helpful when you have a table tennis robot to practice. Great price and great quality.

I purchased these pingpong balls for my children so that they could be able to play without my having to regularly buy a pack of six overpriced pingpong balls at the store. Although the price may seem high, believe me when I tell you it is well worth it. At a price of around 23 cents per ball, these are less than half the price of store-bought table tennis balls and work equally well! More importantly, not only did I get these pingpong balls for an incredible price, but I got a namebrand to boot - Stiga, and the quality really shows. My children have been using the same box I bought them for almost 4 years now - even though so many have been lost or stepped on! By the way, if a ball is badly dented but not cracked, throw it into a pot of boiling water and the pingpong ball will revert back its original shape (just try not to leave the pingpong balls in too long or they might warp or melt). One thing I have noticed, however, is that over time some of the pingpong balls develop light blue or black spots around them, but this could be caused by the chlorine in my pool and, in any case, does not matter to me anyway because the spots do not affect the functionality of the pingpong balls. It makes me happy to see my children having fun (and I didn't have to spend a fortune). Once my supply runs out, I will most likely order another 144 table tennis balls.

Our dorm has 30 boys who used to go through ping pong balls like there is no tomorrow. These have held up very well and yet have a nice bounce and response. Not for pros, great for teenage boys.

I am no ping-pong master or even ping-pong player for that matter, but I do play beer-pong. These balls are ideal for the game, clearly. They're the correct size (40mm) and it comes with plenty so there is no issue when it comes to loosing or smashing these things. If you're moving into a house for a year in school and have a table I recommend picking up deal, because the balls will last the entirety of your time living in the house. My complaint is the inconstant ball quality -- several balls are lemos, meaning that they're almost oval. The reason I gave this 3/5 is mainly for the price and really rough balls.

I received these balls in a carton box. Only the tape to close the box has STIGA written on it. The balls are contained in one bag. No print on them to indicate that they are STIGA made the way the picture shows or even stars ... In my opinion they are a NO NAME brand!

Two stars for the price, but overall these are not very good even for 1-star balls. They feel "off" playing; bounces are inconsistent and the speed/bounce is low.For very casual play most people won't care and this is a good deal. But if you care about getting close to the "3-star experience" without paying for it fully, there are better 1-star balls out there.

I thought I was getting name brand 2 star balls. Not even close. The 1 star balls I got at Sports Authority are far superior. It is uneven in thickness and so thin that it takes nothing for my 10 year old to push a dent in it. The seam is uneven. Of course, the bounce is unpredictable. I am shocked that Stiga's name is on this product. This is a waste of money. I bought 2 boxes to start a ping pong club. I thought I could rely on Stiga brand.

We have our ping pong table in the garage so the balls are always bouncing to the left and to the right into dark and dirty places. When you have a gross of balls you don't have to gather them all up right away. Just grab another one out of the box. The next time I am in the garage cleaning or moving things around I gather up all the wayward balls. Its been about 18 months and we still have at least half of them left. They bounce and are perfect for the casual ping ponger. Just buy a box of these and you will be set for the next few years.

I'm no table tennis pro, but these balls look pretty good and I haven't had any problems with performance. The balls were covered with a white dusty coating when I got them (so they leave faint marks on the table and walls where they hit), but a quick dip in the bathtub should take care of that.
