This is my first cowboy hat… as an adult. I will tell you honestly it fits amazing and it looks super good. Its quality is very high. You can def tell that Stetson puts some time in on their hats. It’s warm and when fitted correctly stays on in the wind.

Received my new Stetson Powder River- Buffalo series (Mink color, actually its a nice shade of Brown) hat and I am very impressed with the material and craftsmanship of the hat.I would highly recommend this hat,I have several other hats that have cost a lot more money but this hat doesn't take a back seat to any of them.

Wearing cowboy hats is an attitude…. it’s a confidence. Any man that wears a cowboy hat is sexy. Doesn’t matter the belly size or height…. Cowboy hats convey a confidence that is attractive… and THIS HAT WILL DO IT. Had to steam the inside brim and put it on his head so it conformed to his head. Before I did that, it only touched the front and the back and the sized had a gap. Now it fits perfect. He’s a BIG man….(old too lol) Tall and wide - still sexy. ANY man in a cowboy hat will turn a true cowgirls head.

I absolutely love this hat, it has held up beyond expectations in the rain and snow. This hat is pretty thick and very stiff, so it continues to hold its shape very well. Because it is thick it will take a little bit longer to break in, but once it is broken in, it will be one of the most comfortable hats you can buy. I also love the color of the Powder River. It is perfect for just about any occasion.Stetson is definitely on to something with its buffalo collection. I highly recommend this hat to anyone looking for a hat of excellent quality for a reasonable price.

I also own a 6X Stetson Skyline $300 hat which I really love.This hat is a little big so I had to add some small double-stick filler pads behind the sweat band. Although the hat liner says American Buffalo Collection on the inside liner, the size tag states that it is made from 'Imported Wools'. The ad states that is a Buffalo Felt hat. Not sure... The hat is shaped well but it is very stiff (like plastic). There is no give at all when you pinch the top of the hat. The side brims of the hat do flex in somewhat though. Also, the thickness of the brim is fairly thick, maybe an 1/8", and the edges have not been rounded at all during the manufacturing. It just looks like a machine punched out the shape of the hat with a hard square cut and were left that way. My other 6X Stetson has rounded eased edges which I prefer. NOTE: I just used fine sandpaper to round the edges on the hat, being careful not to contact the flat surfaces. After brushing off the hat with a clean shoe brush the hat looks much better. Only time will tell if I end up liking this hat enough to purchase another one of the same model. We'll see....

I’ll be ordering the black version next. Stetson hats are second to none. Great fit on a large head. 7 3/4 size was perfect. The details on the band are very striking.
