I migrated to this filter to find a cost effective replacement for filter from MTD. I had tried to find a filter using a cross reference. The overall size of filter and o-ring diameter. However, the thread was not correct. The Stens filter fits perfectly and appears to be very well made. Great job Stens.

I decided that buying the original Cub Cadet filter was a little too expensive for my 30 year old 1861 tractor.Reviews said that this one was a good replacement.It installs just like the original.As far as I can tell, everything is working fine.Transmission is operating as normal and so is my hydraulic lift.Looks good.
