First item arrived missing the hex nut. Tried to reuse old nut on mower with the new gear but it started stripping right away. Contacted seller and they sent out a new set immediately. The new set arrived with both pieces and after installation, has been working great for ~ 2 months. Can’t steer riding mower without it. Very pleased with the purchase after great customer service.

Description says it fits my Cub Cadet 1040. Gear works, but bushing is too short. Sent me a bushing 1/4 thick. Need a bushing 1/2 thick. Now need to go to town and find one in a brick and mortar store.
