I have used similar clamps at work and these seem every bit as good as the decades old clamps used every day in the shipping department. I'll use these at home with leftover banding from work to add reinforcing straps around bins made from leftover pallet wood.

This thing is sturdy! It seems to be made very well. We've been using banding to reinforce some raised beds. This tool does a great job.

I bought this tool to bundle up waste cardboard in the warehouse and to secure goods on pallets. If you don't try to secure steel straps without using this tool, you may not really appreciate the charm of this tool. With this tool, things will be much better and easier. But judging from the price, it is obviously much more expensive than similar products.

We have lots of stuff we band on pallets each year. We used our last one so much the knurled tensioning wheel wire out. This has held up to some abuse and is still going strong.

This is an all Steel No Frills strapping tool. Except for the coating looks very similar to the major US ship Supply chain's standard steel strapping tensioner. Of course buying on this platform is a much better deal- as usual.

This is a heavy-duty tool with a nice finish that should hold up well to regular use. I like how it works well for mostly flat surfaces. It may not be the perfect tool if the surface you are securing is rounded, but they make other tools that would work well for that. The quality of this build seems good, and I haven't noticed anything that would give me concerns. Happy to recommend.

This banding tool works well. I had no trouble banding the dozen or so boxes I needed to do.It's very solidly built, entirely metal, so I expect it to last for many years of service.

Great tensioner.I ordered a lot of construction material from a big box home improvement store and needed to resecure most of the leftovers onto the pallets it came with to move around the yard.This worked well for that.
