Took maybe 45 mins to do the whole install including pulling the steering column apart. Mine did not work right after install, there is a reset procedure in the instructions & it worked perfect after doing that. Well worth the cost & effort. Should have done it years ago.

Works perfectly. Installation is straightforward. Little snug to fit the connector for key switch and get panel back on but might have just been me.

This is a truly plug and play product. Very quick install as long as you follow the instructions. I think it took longer to get my steering column plastic back on than it took to wire in the remote starter. Just make sure everything works s working correctly before you button everything up.

I believe the instructions could be better. I watched a YouTube video to get an understanding of how to proceed. The product works great when installed correctly.

After looking at a few different starters at our local big box store (which had consistently bad reviews -mostly about syncing and professional installation req'd) the fellow who does installations at said store recommended this to me as he has one himself. The kit comes with everything. The youtube link makes it a piece of cake, no questions asked. With my reluctant Dad (who is mechanically inclined but had a less-than-stellar experience installing a starter a couple of decades ago) supervising we had it installed in arnd a half hr - the hardest part was removing and replacing the casing around my steering column.

Had my doubts about it being that easy to install in my 2012 2500hd, but 5 mins I had it wired up (plug and play) and programmed. Took longer to put covers back on and tie up with zip ties. Distance for starting is no better that factory key fob. But I don't have to go outside to start the vehicle in 0 degree weather anymore.

Product was easy to install and worked great for 3 weeks but no the vehicle won't start with the key! Can start with the remote start but as soon as the key is in the ignition and you step on the brake the anti theft light flashes. Not ideal.
