Worked on my 2012 Honda Civic 4 door sedan. Easy install. Used some YouTube videos of other installs to cross reference my set up. Been using it for the past 4 months. Hasn't let me down yet! Definitely recommend to other buyers.

Was really easy to install and program. The tutorial online was informative but lacks the actual programming part. Overall happy with it

This is a simple plug and play starter to setup and it works great on my 2012 Honda Civic LX sedan. There is enough wiring harness length to house the starter box in the radio compartment area. The included connections take the factory harness connectors from the steering column and forward them to the box so there is absolutely no splicing involved. The box also uses the factory key fob to start and stop the vehicle - just press the lock button 3 x times. Instruction guide for key fob programming was straight forward. Be sure to have all the doors, hood, and trunk closed properly when you're doing testing after programming; I tried test starting it after programming and couldn't because my hood was unlocked from an earlier project. Once everything was closed, the box started the car just fine. I love the product and would recommend.

The hardest part is getting the big connector our and removing the lower dash. Everything is super simple and took about 20 minutes to install. The programming guide didn't work at first since there was no instruction to turn the car on at the first step, but worked flawlessly after that.

This was a very easy install, the hardest part was figuring out how to put the panels back on after the wiring and programmer was stuffed behind. Took me probably 20 mins to get it working. NOTE: when you are pushing these wires back in place, make sure they are not rubbing on the steering shaft as it will wear and tear on the wiring/programmer, make sure also you keep wire away from brakes mechanical spring. Zip ties are your friend and they are provided. Very impressed. Follow the directions for programming on the instructions provided, do not look at YouTube DIY’s as these might be older models of the programmers.

This was my first of two purchases from this company, one for Honda and one for a Ford. Amazingly easy to set up, although the instruction leave no room for skimming or stupidity. You need to slowly follow the instructions and understand what you're ready but anyone who can put a Lego set together can install this.Pros:No extra remote on my key chain, this starts by pressing lock on original key three times!Safety, shuts off after 15 mins, and doesn't let you drive away without inserting key and turning to on (if you press brake pedal to shift out of park the car shuts down)I've started this from about 100 feet away! Inside a building! The distance is astounding. If you can unlock or lock your car you can start it.ConsThe instructions feel incredibly simple and it may seem they're not very good but they're very specific, if you follow them word for word you will have no issues, I've done it as fast as 20 minutes on my second vehicle. You NEED two keys for the ford model, I didn't for the Honda and I'm not sure why you do there but it's worth mentioning if you only have one key you'll need to get a second key and flash it on some models of this product.Amazing product overall and I'm ashamed I didn't do this years ago!

I recently purchased a remote starter for my 2012 Honda Civic. Initially, the device didn't function as advertised, and it appeared that it hadn't been programmed for my vehicle. Recognizing the need for programming, I sought professional assistance from a locksmith who successfully programmed it, allowing the device to work properly. It's important for potential buyers to verify that the manufacturer has the necessary programming for their specific vehicle. Keep this in mind before making a purchase.

It took longer to watch the UToob install video than it did to install. Everything worked first try, instructions made perfect sense after watching the video. Bundled up nicely under the steering wheel. It's nice to be able to use the OEM door fob to start the car. Keep in mind the starting range is exactly the same as the normal range you get from the OEM fob

Just installed on a 2015 Civic. While the instruction video does not cover programming the module, the instruction booklet covers the process well enough. Clicking lock three times on your OEM key gets the car started.NOTE: hitting the brake pedal before inserting the key and moving it to the run position kills the engine. It’s not that big a deal if you know about it, but it caught me off guard when I was testing this out. I think most of us hit the brake pretty much right away as we go to sit down in the drivers seat, so be prepared for this.Connecting the harness is a tight squeeze, but I managed to connect it without breaking anything. The kit comes with plenty of zip ties (well done), and I was able to hang the harness behind the steering wheel with a few to spare (see photos). Do some stretching before installing this; you’ll be laying on your back with your head at the bottom of the pedals looking up into the void in front of the firewall. It’s an awkward position that will require you to be limber, or better yet find a kid to get in there for you.Total install time was probably an hour, thanks to the aforementioned awkward positing only really giving me one free hand to connect the zips.I might deduct half a star for the instruction video being incomplete, but this thing working on the first try and ringing in a few hundred cheaper than the mechanic/dealership earns 5/5 stars.
