El Starrett 83A-8 es un divisor grande y de alta calidad. Bien hecho (¡para toda la vida!). Algunos revisores comentaron sobre la mala alineación de los puntos cuando se cerraron, pero mi copia es excelente. Definitivamente lo recomiendo y espero poder medir muchas cosas en los próximos años.

Starrett has a name for quality, and in mechanical insulation's you really only have choice between two names when you buy dividers: Osborne and Starrett. Osborne makes a fine tool, but I used both and the little nuances of Starrett just worked for me better. I take comfort knowing that I can make this tool last my whole career.I am a union insulator.

precision tool. use it for scribing patterns onto roofing paper. usually set it to whatever width straight edge i am using add or subtract the reveal i want. anything from linoleum, fiberglass board. any kind of sheet goods, plywood, saw tooth stair kick boards. anything that has cut outs and is contoured on an edge. traces the lines for impossible cuts quickly and accurately.
