I ordered this part due to receiving the P0521 Code. It works fine. No issues and it also came with a new screen filter. Always a win. This is my second time having an issue with the oil sensor switch on two different Tahoes 2006 and 2014. It’s a pain to get to but doable and will Definitely save you from paying the mechanic and arm and a leg.

I’m a single gal so I cut costs every chance I get, I Installed this on my 2011 5.3 Chevy Silverado which was having the stable track error I believe over this part. I read it was a glitch with mine. Got the special socket and I chose this part because it mentions having the filter, everyone said to assure you change it with this part. I looked up an easy way to get the old filter out. Just match a long bolt up with the inside of your new filter, push that bolt down into the filter hole and it should stick onto to it and come out with the bolt when you pull it back out. Then pop ur filter in. Took about an hour. Truck is running good again and stable track message us gone. Yay! I also did myself a favor and got my own Code reader that clears errors. If something changes, I’ll update. Good luck all!

This sensor includes a new filter. There is no need to order one separately. Lisle 13250 Oil Pressure Switch Socket makes removal and installation easier. I didn't have to clear any codes after install on 2009 Silverado with 5.3.

Used on my 2009 GMC Yukon Denali XL. Unit is a pain to get too so I recommend watching YouTube videos on how to change it. My harness clip was different than on the videos so it took me longer to get the harness off but finally managed too. Make sure to clear your codes after replacement because the vehicle will not register oil pressure unit code is removed
