We received this damaged. The screw that holds the front swinging door was broken off and the stainless steel litter box was dented. We returned for a refund and bought another brand locally.

This is a really good litter box. The design is very tasteful and practical, from the shape of it to the color palette. My cat is huge (17-20 lbs.) and he fits in it perfectly. It also has a lot of options for how you want to use it, which is a really nice touch. Cats can enter and exit from the top and bottom of it, and most parts of it are detachable (I removed the doors with a screwdriver on mine to make things easier for him). Overall I'm super pleased with this product and would recommend it to any cat owner who is sensitive to cat odor, likes an easy and sanitary cleanup, and appreciates good quality cat items. It's a bit expensive, but not nearly as expensive as some of the other "luxury" cat items I've seen. It also comes with a mat in the same "nude" color, plus a scooper. The only thing I'll say is that the scooper could be made of thicker plastic, but other than that I have no complaints. I know I'll have this litterbox for years if the quality holds up.

The seam interlock is not defined enough. Liquid can leak through it. Great Design and materials. But it leaks.

Our cats are fat so we configured the box as 'semi-closed,' which is nice because it keeps them from flinging litter all over the floor. The sides are high enough to give the chihuahuas second thoughts about eating the cat poop. The entrance is high for their liking. The plastic scooper is nice enough, but we substituted with a metal scooper that doesn't bend with heavier loads. Stainless steel litter boxes are much easier to clean and I prefer them, but in my opinion, they smell more if you don't clean them on a regular basis. This litter box is solid, amply sized for our amply fat cats and in the same price range as comparable products at big box stores.

We switched to this to keep our dog out of the litter box. Only problem is that it leaks. Our cat doesn’t squat to pee and we’ve noticed after a day that it’s been leaking around the top seam.

This is a very well thought out and designed litter box and having the stainless steel makes it really easy to clean thoroughly. The top fits snuggly on he base and the door functions great. The scoop works fine and has a place to store it. We have a different silicone scoop we use and prefer, but it was nice to include so you had a full kit.Although listed as and XL box, our old XL plastic litter box was about 3-4" taller than this one so our cat had more head space to move around in it as needed. Thankfully she is on the smaller side and doesn't seem to be bothered by this one, but if you have a larger cat, this might be too small for them if you're wanting to use with the lid on.I will say though, the versatility of this system being able to go from just the pan, to a raised edges to fully enclosed litter box is really clever and provide a lot of flexibility for your cat to see what works best for them too.

This is a great litter box. It really makes a difference with the odor. I’m just sad it was delivered with a small dent on the bottom corner. Really needed this so I’m keeping it as is.
