The clamps worked good for connecting the exhaust parts but doesn't make it air tight. I had to buy exhaust tape to wrap the exhaust pipe first then I was able to put the clamp around it to help seal it

So many clamps use weak nuts and bolts that snap when you tighten them at all, but not these. They use 10.9 grade hardware which meant that I could tighten them probably more than I should've to make sure there aren't any bad leaks.

I had to drop the transmission out of my 2000 Cherokee XJ. Which requires the exhaust to be removed. The bolts were too old to remove so I sawed the exhaust. I used this product to reassemble the exhaust and it did a fantastic job. Make sure to use an exhaust gasket maker so that you don’t have an exhaust leak. No exhaust leak , no rattles. I’m extremely happy with the outcome.
