The Stage 3 cam a great middle-ground for people looking for added power, while keeping driving characteristics in check. Torque converters play happily with these grinds. Our valve springs are designed, manufactured and tested to keep the correct seat and open pressures on the intake and exhaust valves for a variety of cylinder head applications. The cam does good, makes a difference but one of the valve springs broke within the first 100 miles. Not to impressed with the springs.

Used this for my LC9 engine, camshaft is still working as intended but the valve springs broke after 5 miles. Pushrods were dirty and clogged, cleaned the pushrods and installed them. Do not buy this kit, if you want the camshaft just buy it by itself. Not worth the added effort to replace valve springs twice.

The thing I didn't like the most and has caused me to start a refund is it didn't come with everything it was missing a bag of valve springs

Only got the cam and the valve seals, didn't come with the valve springs.Shipped it back, if you can't get 3 things in one package I'll spend my money someplace else.

This cam is very lopey and aggressive , but I recommend getting a torque converter with a higher stall rating then stock converters

This cam kit is listed with BTR part numbers. The cam blank was cut very crudely, not saying it will break but certainly looks alot weaker than an actual BTR product. I contacted Brian Tooley himself and he said sadly there are a bunch of knockoffs out there and this is one of them. Next time I will be purchasing directly from the BTR website.
