It functioned easily and was a big help much of the time, but it often seemed out of date. Overall, worth having.

I know many people download free maps for their Garmin GPS but I just couldn't get the free downloads to work. I live in South America and I need a good street map to use with my Montana 680T. I installed the Micro SD card and the device immediately recognised this map. I zoomed to Cochabamba, Bolivia where I live, and was amazed at the many POIs and details in my neighbourhood, many of which I was not aware of. I will continue to use this map until I become proficient in using free downloadable maps and at that time I will do a comparison. For the price, which is a fraction of the price of the official Garmin South America map, I recommend this if you have a compatible Garmin device and need a map of South America.
