Works like it should. The blue plastic is a pain to remove.

This pocket stove isn't flimsy at all. It took quite a bit of force to get it to open, in all honesty. Works as it should, this one is replacing a similar one I have that is really flimsy. I'd recommend it, good price for a stove can literally fit in my pocket.Would have been great if it came with a small pouch to keep it in. I stuck it in a paper bag after using it so that it didn't dirty other things in my bag.

once again, there's value in having someting WITH you, in the corner of your trunk, pack--wherever. the heximine "fishbait" tabs--which is what they smell like-- can be purchased in bulk and repackaged into tupperware fat packs, and then a few can be airtight in prescription bottles with great gasketed lids. no stink and ready when needed. two basic click-positions will get you through. for the brave among us, or the socially isolated with no sense of smell, you can store those fishy hex-tabs inside the closed stove- and thereby save a step (but you will be cooking for one).

Nice size for camp cups and mini pots. I won't need to fold the top in to the point that it becomes unstable. You will need to peel this blue plastic film off though, so if you have zero patience, then don't get this stove and then make the buyer have to deal with a return. It's not a big deal.

I bought this little pocket stove for emergencies. I tested it with a solid fuel tablet and it worked as expected. Took about 5 minutes to boil 500 ml of water for coffee. Stable platform that easily held a 6" diameter pot.
