The 42-inch length will fit folks of average build between 5' - 5'8" tall; the 48-inch length will fit those between 5'8" - 6'1"; the 54-inch length will fit persons 6'1 - 6'5" and the 60-inch length will fit those between 6'4" - 6'8" tall or shorter folks with a stocky build. If in doubt choose the larger size as suspenders can be made shorter but not lengthened.

I purchased two colors and I opened one when they arrived. The dark gray set was fine. I put them away until needed. When I wanted to wear the brown suspenders, one of the clasp was bent and would not close. It was necessary to disassemble, bend the metal with pliers and re-assemble. That’s not a desired attribute in a new, un-used product. One will not get any satisfaction with plier marks on the item, and I did not order or pull the suspenders out that day to need to return them, and then wait for new ones. Also, note the return policy sticking the customer with return shipping. Overall, I like the suspenders. The dark gray is darker than I expected. Takeaway: check your stuff because the seller is not.

My husband did not want suspenders because his dad wore suspenders and he didn't want to become his dad. He has changed his tune, absolutely loves not having to constantly hitch up his jeans despite wearing a belt (he has very narrow hips). The jeans look like they fit better too, no baggy seat. The clips don't put holes in the fabric, yet are strong enough they hold the fabric even when he squats or crouches while doing yardwork. Highly recommend.Update: Almost a year later and the clips have started to fail and slip. Not having had prior experience with suspenders, we're not sure if this is a "normal" expected life for suspender clips but will be looking for another brand.

Some suspenders I have bought would stay clipped to my pants. Other suspenders could be adjusted - tension wise all the time. They frayed, wore out. These suspenders are well made. Do not use metal teeth to tear-up your pants. They are also extremely adjustable. Much better than the suspender you purchase in a dept store. Well worth the money...

Comfortable. Secure clips. Wider than I would appreciate. The color is supposed to be "denim", but if it is to match my jeans, it would have to VERY faded. Back leather patch is well-sewn.

I bought a few different brands of suspenders to try out which I liked best. I bought the Levi's suspenders and some other cheap brand. Let me tell you, these may a bit more expensive but they are totally worth it.Pros -The clips are incredibly sturdy.Quality elastic material that will last.These clips don't cut into your pants, as some other suspenders do.Plethora of colorsEasy to adjust the length.Cons -About 20% more expensive than other brands (but totally worth the money)Summary -If you're new to suspenders I would highly recommend these. The color range is superb and these suspenders will last for years.

The sizes were right on and the quality seems to be very good. No issues with them through a night of dancing.The one thing I wish the company would have included were instructions that each strap has be fully stretched once out of the box to get them to really work. Took us a while to realize this on our own.
