Used it for viewing the solar eclipse in 2023 and it was safe and you could see the moon blocking the sun.
Like the product . Easy to use . Happy with it.

Used these for the eclipse earlier this year. Worked perfectly. We could see the eclipse and could still see afterwards.

These were great glasses for viewing the 2024 eclipse. I preferred the plastic American Paper Optics Eclipser HD($29) for a slightly redder, more comfortable tint and view. The sun has a yellow tint through these, but they are excellent, and the price was great. They are paper and very light. They are sufficiently sturdy to survive mailing in a paper envelope and being passed around. No problems with fit and I was able to place than over prescription lenses. I did keep my hand on them, because I did not want to risk my vision if they were to slip. They are American made, meet the current ISO standards, are sufficiently dark, and can be used for years to come as long as they are not scratched or damaged.

These eclipse glasses seem genuine. My concern was that they came in an unmarked bag, so I didn't feel completely confident they were genuine. I used them, but I was careful not to stare at the sun too long just in case. They probably were genuine: only the sun is visible through them, the requisite information is printed on the glasses, the company brand name is genuine (Soluna), and my eyes are none the worse for the wear. Still, I would have preferred that the glasses came in printed packaging.

I quickly ordered this set for the recent solar eclipse. They arrived rapidly. They are NASA approved for the purpose. These little shades are very nice! Upon wearing them, I found I could see NOTHING except the sun! Utterly black! The sun was rendered a pleasant orange with no rays or glare. We were able to watch the sky wolves take a bite from the sun in complete comfort and awe. With a set like this, we were able to share the view with others, which was fun.I did try to use one over the lens of my phone cam, but it was awkward. I got a couple of blurry shots, lol. These fold nice and compact, so we have a pair in the car for future sun gazing. They seem sturdy enough to last a bit with proper handling - they are just light cardstock and the plastic lenses. Very lightweight but not at all flimsy. They worked well under or over regular glasses too. These also can be used to look at sunspots and the transit of Mercury, they are very nice!
