This is not a safe first and foremost. . It’s a simple storage locker great to have for quick access under the bed and to keep family and children from accessing what’s inside. But it isn’t as durable as a safe by any means. Big enough Tory bar and you can bend open shell. But it works great for what it is.Only wish the keypad lit up when in use and the plastic dial was more sturdy.

I've been looking at underbed safes for a while and managed to find this in the larger size cheaper than anywhere else.Pros:Low cost, convenient underbed location, sturdy steel construction, electronic and manual (key) lock works fine, easy to program and install/set up, drawer rolls out relatively smooth, able to bolt to floor or tether to something, the larger size I received fits a bullpup shotgun and a 36" rifle with room for maybe 2-3 more rifles and many more handguns and ammo, magazines, etc.Cons:Box arrived looking like Freddy Krueger had a bad day and took it out on the packaging, the two "L" shaped locking lugs could be more substantial/numerous, buttons beep fairly loud and do not illuminate, when locking it makes a loud thud, cannot mount from the top.Its a great safe for keeping stuff out of curious hands. It's not water/fire proof, however. Make no mistake, this isn't a vault type of safe. It may slow or deter a thief but if someone really wanted in and had a bit of time, they likely could get in it or carry it off (weighs about 130 lbs. with drawer, empty.)If you buy this knowing its not a bank vault, you'll be very happy given the price. If you want something to put the Ark of the Covenant or Granny's pearls in, you'll be very disappointed.

After reading just about every review I was a little apprehensive in ordering this, the XXL under bed safe. It was such an incredible value I said the heck with it--go for it. Received the safe at 5:30PM 10-15-18 and an hour later it was completely set up, programmed, packaging in the dumpster, and vacuuming done. I'm 65 and brought it in the house and into the back bedroom without assistance. I do recommend you enlist some help, though, but it can be done solo. Mine arrived completely undamaged and still had that "new car" smell. I have had a safe from another company delivered that did have corner damage and had obviously sat in some damp warehouse for a prolonged period of time. This was not one of them. The keypad booted right up and responds perfectly. The drawer tracks as it should. The instructions are short, clear, and to the point. The drawer liner suits me perfectly and I doubt anything is going to move around. The safe will come double boxed and you might want to remove the outer packaging outside. My outer box had dings but they didn't carry through to the second box. If you do open it up outside, be aware that the inner box is sealed with fairly flimsy tape ON BOTH SIDES so be careful you don't break the seal with the weight of the safe. You will need to vacuum small pieces of Styrofoam up when you are done. Will add a photo when I stock this tomorrow but trust me, the XXL is spacious and looks like a keeper!

This is a well built safe for the money!! Can buy two of these for what the others want. I bought It because it has a keyed backup. It measures a little bit more than 7" tall. Wasn't a deal breaker though. It has a nice smooth finish and is well constructed. Bottom of the drawer is carpeted which was a plus for me. It has two 5/8" locking bolts on the sides. You have to remove the drawer to install floor anchors. I also used the cable around my bed frame. Just pop out a grommet and push threaded part into safe. Use lock washer and nut inside to the right of drawer, I used a little locktight for added security. The ONLY reason I give this 4 stars is when I had to put the drawer back in after mounting the ball bearing housing bent some and bearings fell out! It still closed ok but not as smooth on the right side. I'm gonna contact the company, once the send me a new rail I WILL change to 5 stars! They are kind of a pain to install because of space and it's tight under a bed period. If you a 2nd amendment gun loving American I can honestly say buy one. All in all. It's a good solid box and lock to store valuables in. I got 2 shotguns(barrel off) and 8 pistols and magazines with NO problems. Still got plenty of room for more. I will most likely buy another. I hope the company makes this issue right!!!! Hope this review helps anybody on the fence. Wasn't any reviews so I said what the hell!UPDATE. UPDATE. 4-14-2016Had the issue with the drawer rail/track. You remember right?? Anyway. I email Snap Safe, 6 minutes after I pressed the send button(yes six I said) Will with the company called me!! I was very very surprised to say the least. I told him the issue I had and explained my dilemma to him. I emailed him a pic and told him exactly what I needed. Will then emailed me back at 530am the next morning saying that he was again sorry about the problem, and that the new replacement part was on the way. Within another hour he emailed with the UPS tracking number. I cannot say enough about the company's customer service and WILL too!! I would tell everyone I know about this!! It's all five stars for me!!!
