Works great! I like that it can be cut to size. I'm in phlebotomy school and the provided tourniquet are 10 dollars apiece, if broken or lost. So I bought this as a backup. Exactly the same, except for it's orange.

I use tourniquets in my podiatry practice for exsanguination during nail procedures. I put the tourniquet in my pack with instruments and send it through the autoclave before use. Other brands I've used have held up very well with the autoclave. This brand sticks together. Most people probably won't send theirs through the autoclave. If not, this wouldn't matter. But it doesn't work for my purposes.

I haven't used it yet- this is going to sound stupid, but my daughter and I went to a seminar on campus safety, and one of the cops said that he always has a tourniquet on him, in case of an active shooter situation. It made sense, because help may not get there before you bleed out, so I bought this box so my girl and her friends and my co-workers could have one on hand. Odds are, we'll never need it. But we could save a life for less than fifty cents.

Just right. They are relatively thick and durable seeming compared to others styles (typically pictured as a rolled up ten-pack) which are thinner and more stretchy. I like the bright orange. The material is smooth but has just the right amount of stickiness so that it works swimmingly for venipuncture. they are "disposable" but tough enough to consider re-use in a private setting. Shipping price is steep but still a fair value overall. Will buy again.
