Using for off label purpose--holder for hot curling iron (thru hole) & hair dryer. Works.___Somehow I saw this when I was looking for a holder for a still-hot curling iron and a hairdryer. Decided to try this out as an all metal option appealed to me (hate plastics!). Enter this item.___It works okay--had to mount it lower than you would think due to my location, but it keeps hot things in a stable position. It does not work for a flat brush, only a slender curling iron. The hair dryer (gun type) is just okay fit--could be better.___It mounted easily. It would not be fair to take points for some weakness in using it in a way that was not intended, so I will give all stars. It is as described and all metal, so it should also function as the vendor/maker anticipated.
