These do not fit Level 5 / Vevor style skimming blades.These fit skimming blades with a narrow trailing edge to the handle.The clamp is heavy duty plastic and the handle is nice.

I had an old wood broomstick and wanted to upgrade to something adjustable. I'm 6 feet 1 inch, and the height on this broomstick/pole is perfect. It adjusts to three different levels, and it's very easy. It's thick and very sturdy, and you can tell it's quality-made.I'm giving it a five-star rating and would highly recommend it if you need to upgrade to an adjustable stick/pole.

If you get this, be prepared to replace the pole with something good like a locking painters pole.The holder is well made and heavy duty synthetic material. But the pole is difficult to adjust and can come loose.You don’t twist the knuckles. You instead twist the pole into the locked position. But it’s very difficult to do as you have to carefully do the 2 sections in sequence. Plus it’s very light duty compared to the head. I mean hey it’s ok and works ok, it just could be quite a lot better. As it is, it’s just not made to last.

I didn't use the skimming blade part - I only got this for the extension pole, to use with a paint roller. It fit the handle just fine. I painted walls & ceiling with it. My ceilings are only 8 feet high, so it might not be long enough if you have higher ceilings.The more you extend the pole, the less sturdy it becomes. I was putting decent pressure on it though, to push the paint into the textured finish on the drywall. I've never used a skimming blade so maybe you don't push as hard with that tool. Also I had to keep tightening the handle on the end of the pole as it kept getting loose. Again that's probably because of the way I was using the paint roller. To get the edges of the roller to apply the paint better I would put more pressure on one side sometimes, so I don't think it was a problem with the pole.Anyway, it worked for what I needed it for, & at a slightly better price than a similar pole I found at the hardware store.

I do a good bit of drywall repair, and often use my skim blades. I have never liked skimming from on top of the ladder, so I ordered this extension handle. Even though this is a different brand from my blades, it was a good tight fit. It’s super easy to attach my skim blade and work from the floor. The handle and pole are strong enough for me to get a pretty tight pull and it makes for a good finish coat. Make sure you thin your material enough so you can pull it flat. This has added a huge amount of value to my already handy skim blades. This extension handle works like I was hoping.

I don’t do a ton of drywall work so I can’t justify purchasing the really expensive pro grade equipment. When I do need to float out a wall or ceiling I really like using a skimming blade. They are so much easier to use than an 18” drywall knife. This skimming blade attachment and pole gets me off the stilts and on the floor where I can really see my work. The pole and attachment are built for someone like me who occasionally has to install some Sheetrock but doesn’t need to durability you would find in a tool that gets used every day. It’s sturdy enough to get the job done and it’s reasonably priced. The one drawback to this tool is the placement of the wing nut that you use to adjust the angle of your blade. It’s placed really close to the skimming blade attachment and a little difficult to get at when adjusting the blade position.
