These arrived very quickly and were as described. I didn't see any instructions so I had to "wing it" to a certain Extent. Notes for next time:1. Dispense slowly with a small scoop or spoon.2. You need a large enough pan for the mold to lie flat.3. Make sure the mixture is not too thick.5. Probably a good idea to lightly spray the mold with oil first and not just the pan.Good luck.

If you have a thick batter these will not work at all. You will have a mess. Use a recipe that is thinner in consistency and they will work. I bought these because pancakes are some of my kids favorite snacks. So we big batch cook them and freeze them they go in and toast one or two as needed. The kids loved the fun shapes they make. It was a hit after the first batch that was a thicker consistency batter which were a flop.

Planned to use this to make my kids' eggs into fun shapes but it did not work at all. Perhaps it would work for a thicker pancake batter, but haven't tried that yet. So much for fun-shaped eggs.

I have only made pancakes with this, but they came out great! I tinted the batter pink and made hearts for valentine's day! Since no instructions are included, here are some tips. Make sure your pan is large enough to fit the mold (lays flat). Preheat the pan and spray the pan and mold, on both sides, with nonstick cooking spray before each batch. Cook on low heat and flip carefully after several minutes. If batter does run a little, I used a butter knife to cut the ends off. 🙂
