This quilting thread was labeled as gold in color. Definitely not gold, more of a dark tan color. The label on the inside says mother goose. It is a nice neutral color but not the gold color I was looking for.

This is a sturdy quilting thread - good value, sews well. I was most pleasantly surprised by the "Mother Goose" color! It is a very neutral bronze color that complements just about every print, and even most solids. I bought it for sewing face masks - and have used it in florals, batiks of every color, dark prints, and even various solids. It has a subtle sheen quality and blends into the fabric color. Will definitely buy this thread again. :)
