Bought two (one for each engine). One works fine, the other died within a few hours and has only worked intermittently since then .

Very easy install. Both upper and lower helm stations are reporting oil pressure exactly as the mechanical gauge on the engine does. Very happy with the outcome.

This sender worked great. I have 2 fuel gauges on my boat this sender is perfect for this application. At zero pressure it ohms out at 120 ohms and goes towards zero ohms as pressure goes up. You have to match your gauge to the sender. Some start at low ohms and go up as oil pressure increases and some are the other way. If you put a new sender in and your gauge seems to read backwards ie oil pressure goes down as rpm increases you have the wrong sender. Measure the sender you have, if it is high ohms at zero pressure than get one that is low ohms at zero pressure. On top of that if you want your gauge to read accurately in other words if it says 50psi it really is 50 and not 55 or 45 or what ever than you have to match the impedence of the sender to your gauge. Otherwise its more of an indicator of pressure rather than an accurate measurement.

I installed this on a Cummins 6BT in my boat when the old sender failed on my port engine. 1 wire install, 1/8-27 NPT, and reads accurately at both stations. I've got Faria gauges top and bottom. Not much else you could want out of it.
